  • HCHC’S INCOMING ENROLLMENT ONE OF THE LARGEST IN ITS HISTORY

    Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology is delighted to announce the admission of 93 incoming students, one of the highest entering classes since the School's founding 86 years ago. Hellenic College welcomed an incoming class of 40 students, twice the size of last year's, impressively increasing the total number of undergraduates to 64--almost a 50% increase.   • HCHC RAISES OVER $2.3 MILLION THROUGH CARLOS MATCHING GRANT

    The ninety-day $1 million challenge grant issued by Helen A. Carlos, exemplary Trustee of Hellenic College Holy Cross (HCHC), has greatly exceeded its goal, raising over $2.3 million dollars in total gifts.  Helen’s intention was to inspire others to take an active interest in providing HCHC with the necessary working capital to advance its strategic initiatives of boosting enrollment, ensuring academic excellence, and enhancing spiritual growth. Donors from across America followed Helen’s lead and multiplied her generosity by contributing over $1.3 million.   • BISHOP JOACHIM OF AMISSOS LECTURES AT DUMBARTON OAKS

    On July 7, 2023, His Grace Bishop Joachim (Cotsonis) of Amissos, PhD, presented a lecture on the iconography of Byzantine lead seals for the graduate students enrolled in the 2023 Byzantine Coins and Seals Summer Program at Harvard University’s Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection in Washington, DC.
